WHAT DO WE BELIEVE?

At Mercy Church we believe it is important to state what we believe. In a world full of mixed messages and vague answers, we want you to know what it is that we believe. First and foremost, we believe in the authority of the scriptures. It is in the truth of the bible that we find:

 

I. Our ultimate source of hope - THE GOSPEL

II. Gods perfect and complete revelation to man - SCRIPTURE

III. Who he is - GOD the FATHER, GOD the SON, & GOD the HOLY SPIRIT

It is because of these beliefs that we believe our primary purpose and mission is to make disciples by proclaiming the gospel, teaching all that is found in scripture, and by exalting all that God is. (Matthew 28)

 

Below, you can find several statements that we wholly affirm. We believe this unites us with other followers of Christ in the world today, and connects us with followers of Christ from the past.

 

Matthew 28:19-20 CSB

"Go. therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
